Enable Startup Sounds In Ubuntu

 

Ubuntu is the popular linux distribution developed by canonical corporation. After installing ubuntu there is no default login sound. To enable Startup Sound in the ubuntu follow this simple guide.



1. Go to Dash & type  "   Startup Applications  " then select the respective option.

2. After opening Startup Applications , click on Add option

 

3. Add the following things into the respective options

Name: Startup Sound Ittwist

Command: /usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME Login sound"

Comment: Login Sound

4. Click on Save button & restart your ubuntu PC you will notice a startup sound.
